In 1948, Post WWII, an Italian-American family leaves New York to rebuild their lives in war-torn Apulia, Italy, reuniting with their multigenerational relatives - but when the ancestral home becomes a battleground of postwar scarcity and clashing ideals, the patriarch must make heart-wrenching sacrifices to protect his family’s survival.
