Marcella's niece is helping to fulfill her dream

Marcella Luiso Flanagan's niece, Phyllis Orlowski, is helping her to fulfill her dream. Phyllis has been actively involved in Marcella's movie idea since it was conceived by Marcella in 2002 when she wrote it at New York University at a course in screenwriting. Marcella commissioned Phyllis to create the movie poster in 2012. Phyllis has also been involved in the editing, copyrighting, and promotion of American Destiny, and will partake in the production of the movie in Italy and the USA.

Phyllis was named after her grandfather, Filippo, and also speaks Italian. She studied Italian through the University of Connecticut in Florence, Italy in 1980-1981. Phyllis has also visited the relatives in Cassano delle Murge, and Acquaviva delle Fonti since the late 1970's. She is excited to bring the family history to the screen for the whole world to view.
